At the beginning of the semester we learned about cultural imperialism as a form of oppression. How is cultural imperialism in operation in the Eugenics movement's sterilization laws? 3. Explain how the idea of public health was used to target Mexican American & Filipinx American communities in California. 4. Lastly, in all three video's you hear about the relationship between narratives and policies shaping systems. Explain that relationship using an example from one of the videos.

1.)In the first era, whites would categorize others in studies and research to show and try to prove that racism, slavery and controlling power was in favor of them and that there was a reason for it. They tried to purposely use science to show people that whites are truly the superior race. When it came to the second era, whites would show their studies they were conducting on human skulls and brains to show that scientifically and medically that they were superior. They tried to prove this towards blacks by showing people that the blacks had similar skulls to chimpanzees which was solely not true what so ever.
